Description of Material
This collection (1859-2015) contains brochures, building plans, building proposals, building specifications, correspondence, dedication materials, drawings, financial records, floor plans, news clippings, programs, publications, and reports that document the history of the Iowa State University campus buildings and grounds.
The files include information about almost every building constructed on campus, past and present. However, some building files have more complete documentation than others. Some of the structures on campus that are represented in this collection include Beardshear Hall, the Campanile, Carrie Chapman Catt Hall, the Enrollment Services Center, the Iowa State Center, Lake LaVerne, Parks Library, the Memorial Union, and Jack Trice Stadium.
