Biography/Profile
Philip (Phil) A. Allen started his broadcast career at Radio KOIL in 1937 and later served in World War II. From 1952 to 1958, Allen hosted the program "Here's Allen," sponsored by the United Packinghouse Workers of America. He later broadcast radio commentaries and farm news for the National Farmers Organization (NFO) as well as commentaries on classical music and opera.
He married Pauline Allen and they had three children. Allen died in 1995.
