The collection consists of materials related to the Office of the Registrar. Records include news clippings, annual reports, brochures, class schedules, classroom assignments, summer session records, subject files, biographical files, commencement records and commencement programs.

This sub-group (1871-2008) contains records documenting the commencement ceremony at Iowa State University. The files include commencement addresses, correspondence, invitations, newspaper clippings, photographs, and programs. A complete set of commencement programs (LD2547 I68x) has been cataloged and is also available at the University Archives.
